River Cruiser Class Magazine
In the Spring of 1983 the first issue of ‘The River Cruiser – the Journal of the River Cruiser Class’, was published. It is a mark of the enthusiasm and commitment of class members that this publication is still going strong. If you weren’t involved in the class back then you may be interested to know that early issues are accessible as pdfs on the website. The articles make fascinating and often entertaining reading (some could even be described as imaginative, dubious or just plain fictitious). Further issues will be added to complete the archive.
All members and associate members receive two magazines per year chronicling the events of the season, boat histories, cruises, rig changes and other RCC related issues. The first is published as soon as possible after the Three Rivers Race and the second as soon as possible after the Yare Navigation Race.
Contributors are encouraged and much appreciated – please get in touch!
To ensure prompt publication of each issue please send in other articles by the end of April and by mid- September. Inserts are charged at £20 where directly relevant to RCC members or £50 for other Broads boat related advertising.
Advertisers are required to submit their insert to the committee for approval by the last meeting before each publication. This year that will be the meetings on 17th May and 13th Sept The inserts can then be sent to the printer.
